James founded RYCO Capital in 2018 and has led the firm since its inception. He is involved in all facets of the business. Prior to RYCO Capital, James held various roles at real estate development and early-stage technology firms. James earned his BA in Political Science from Yale University.
Edward Robertson
Director of Asset Management

Edward oversees the creation and implementation of all business plans across the RYCO portfolio. He coordinates across all acquisition, asset management, construction, and property management functions. Edward is a graduate of New York University with a MS in Real Estate Finance and is a licensed Architect.
Paola Juncos
Director of Finance

Paola manages all finance and accounting operations at RYCO Capital. Her role includes financial reporting and analysis as well as cash management, budgeting, and forecasting. Prior to RYCO Capital, Paola worked at Brookfield Property Partners & PwC.
Brendan Sarsfield
Head of Project Management

Brendan oversees all project management activities at RYCO including design, budgeting, and construction. Throughout his career, Brendan has completed nearly 2 million square feet of construction projects in New York City as well as development projects in Australia. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from RPI and BS in Physics from Albany.
Bill Caleo
Design Director

Bill leads all design operations at RYCO Capital. He is the Founder of The Brooklyn Home Company, a close strategic partner of RYCO. Bill sits on the Board of Trustees at Skidmore College. He earned his MFA in acting from Southern Methodist University.
Ilya Vilnits, AIA, LEED AP
Architect

Ilya leads all architecture and expediting for RYCO Capital. He has extensive experience in designing, and obtaining approval for, NYC buildings. Prior to joining RYCO, Ilya was lead architect at Brooklyn Home Company for 12 years and Skidmore Owings & Merrill for 5 years. Ilya is a graduate of Pratt Institute and New York University.

Pete leads all property management and building operations in NYC for RYCO. Prior to joining RYCO, Pete was the Founder and President of iFathom, a construction firm that operated in Brooklyn for 20 years. Pete has extensive experience and expertise in construction, building codes, and property operation within New York City.
